About Me

Hi, I'm Delaney Brown! I'm a recent graduate of Ohio State University's Visual Communication Design program. I was born and raised right here in Columbus, Ohio. My love for sports has been a huge part of my life from the start—I grew up playing them, which eventually led to me picking up a camera to capture the action. These days, I’m all about combining my passion for sports and design by creating visuals for teams and athletes. Whether I’m designing graphics, snapping photos, or just cheering on my favorite teams, I’m always looking for ways to combine creativity with the energy of the game!

Why Sports Design?

Sports design became my passion because it’s where my love for visuals and storytelling collide. Growing up, I was always a visual person, constantly crafting and creating as a kid. My love for design started through sports photography. What began as me snapping pictures of my brother playing sports quickly evolved into becoming my high school’s sports photographer, sharing my photos with almost every athlete. I’ll never forget the stories the athletes shared with me about how they’d wait to see the pictures until they were home with their families. It made me feel like I was making a real impact—capturing moments that meant so much to them and me. As I grew, I started looking for ways to stay connected to the world of sports, and that’s when I turned to design, in particular sports design. I believe that there’s something so special and unique about sports: it's ability to unite people. That feeling of connection, of being part of something bigger than yourself, is what drives me to keep creating. Sports design is my way of telling stories, making an impact, and celebrating those moments that bring us all together.
