[About Me]

Hi, I’m Delaney Brown! I’m a recent graduate of Ohio State University’s Visual Communication Design program, born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Sports have always been a big part of my life, and growing up playing them led me to pick up a camera to start capturing the action, which eventually led me to design.

Outside of design, I enjoy reading, quilting, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with friends and family. I’m an animal lover and a huge movie person. As a graphic designer, my goal is to create visually engaging work that is both meaningful and intentional for myself and my audience.

[Why Sports Design]

Sports design became my passion because it’s where my love for visuals and storytelling come together. I’ve always been a visual person, and it started with sports photography: first taking photos of my brother, then becoming my high school’s sports photographer. Seeing how much those photos meant to athletes and their families showed me the impact those moments can have. As I grew, I wanted to stay connected to sports, which led me to design. Sports bring people together in a way nothing else does, and sports design is how I tell those stories and celebrate those moments that bring us all together.
